TikTok LIVE Alerts: Latest Supporter, Top Supporter and Taps

TikTok LIVE alerts show your latest supporter, your top supporter and taps on your stream. Flix designs the alerts and graphics; playing them when likes or gifts arrive needs a compatible third-party tool that reads your stream's events. This guide covers the setup in OBS for those who use it; it is not the only way to stream.

Types of TikTok LIVE alert

  • Latest and top supporter alert: shows who sent the latest gift and who gave the most during the stream.
  • Tap alert: plays when viewers' likes arrive, if a tool that supports it triggers it.
  • Support link panel: a static design that tells viewers how to support you.

A tap alert: a real example

The "Injury Time" tap alert is inspired by TikTok's tapping trend: a skeleton in a hat dances in front of a counter climbing to 10,000. The counter is part of the video's animation and does not show your stream's real like count. It runs about 20 seconds, comes as a WEBM with a transparent background that you add as a source in OBS or Streamlabs, and changing its name, logo and colours costs nothing extra. Watch the preview video on its page before ordering.

Latest and top supporter in one design

The supporter add-ons are a vertical design with two neon-framed circles, one for "latest supporter" and one for "top supporter", above the line "support link in bio"; its colours can be changed completely to match your look. Supporters' names are shown in it by the tool you use.

If you are setting up a whole TikTok stream, both Tiktok Packs include a latest supporter alert, a top supporter alert and a support-link-in-bio panel, along with a logo and stream screens. Compare them in stream packs.

Before you start

Streaming from a computer is available to accounts TikTok has enabled it for, and the conditions vary by country and account. First check that the LIVE page in your account shows you a server URL and a stream key.

Set OBS to vertical (for OBS users)

  1. Open Settings, then Video.
  2. Set Base (Canvas) Resolution to 1080x1920.
  3. Set Output (Scaled) Resolution to 1080x1920.
  4. Under Settings, then Stream, choose Custom and paste the server URL and stream key exactly as TikTok's LIVE page shows them.

Adding the alerts

Playing an alert on likes or gifts needs a compatible third-party tool that supports it and shows the alert in OBS as a Browser source. Flix does not provide that tool or the connection to it, only the alert file itself: a WEBM with a transparent background for you to upload inside the tool.

Tips

  • Choose alerts whose size and position suit a vertical stream. A file need not be 9:16, but a horizontal design filling a 1920×1080 screen will show small or cropped.
  • Keep the top and bottom of the screen free of anything important: TikTok's interface covers them with comments and buttons.
  • Place the alert in the middle of the screen or just above it so comments do not hide it.
