Logo Types for Streamers and Servers: Letter, Symbol or Illustrated?
At Flix we design three kinds of logo for streamers and for FiveM and Discord servers: the letter logo, built from the letters of your name; the symbol logo, which sums you up in a single mark; and the illustrated logo, which turns your identity into a drawing or a character. Which one suits you depends on three things: where the logo will mostly be seen, what you want people to remember, and your budget. This guide shows each type with real examples from our product pages and helps you pick.
Which logo type suits you?
- Your name is short or has distinctive initials, and your logo will mostly be seen small, like a Discord server icon: go for a letter logo.
- Your name is long, or you want a mark people know by its shape: go for a symbol logo.
- You want a character that recurs across your banners and stream screens: go for an illustrated logo.
Prices start at $15 for a static letter logo and reach $50 for an animated illustrated logo.
The three types at a glance
| Letter logo | Symbol logo | Illustrated logo | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What it is | The letters of your server's or channel's name, or its initials, in a lettering style of your own | One mark that is recognised at a glance, in your style and colours | A drawing or character designed just for you |
| Price | Static $15, animated $25 | Static $20, animated $30 | Static $30, animated $50 |
Letter logo: an identity from your name
A letter logo builds your identity from the name itself: the letters of your server's or channel's name, or its initials, in a lettering style of your own. Its strength is that it stays clear when shown small, such as a Discord icon, so people know your name even if they read nothing else.
Order it on the letter logo page.
Symbol logo: a mark known by its shape
A symbol logo sums your server or channel up in one mark that is recognised at a glance and carries your style and colours. It suits anyone who wants a mark people know by its shape before they read the name, such as a skull, a shemagh, or whatever symbol expresses your server's character.
Order it on the symbol logo page.
Illustrated logo: a character that represents you
The illustrated logo is the most detailed type: a drawing or character designed just for you that becomes the face of your server or channel. Being full of detail, it shows all of it when displayed large, as on banners and stream screens.
Order it on the illustrated logo page.
Static or animated?
Each type comes in two versions, and you receive only the one you order: static as a PNG, animated as a GIF. Before ordering the animated one, check that the place you will use the logo shows animated GIFs. On Discord, for example, an animated server icon is a Level 1 Server Boost perk, as Discord's support page explains.
Logos inside the packs
If you are building your whole identity, every pack includes a logo of a set type:
| Logo type | Packs that include it |
|---|---|
| Letter logo | Every Discord Pack, the $40 and $80 Stream Packs, and the CFW PACK |
| Symbol logo | The $100 Stream Pack and the ESX PACK |
| Illustrated logo | The $150 Stream Pack, the $100 Tiktok Pack and Youtube Pack, and the VRP PACK |
| Letter or symbol (your choice) | The $80 Tiktok Pack and Youtube Pack, and the Salla Pack |
Some packs include the logo static only, others static and animated; each pack's page has the details. You will also find all three logos alongside the rest of a server's designs in Discord designs, and alongside a channel's designs in stream designs.
