FiveM Alert vs Announcement Banners: Differences, Sizes and When You Need Each

On FiveM servers that use an in-game phone, two kinds of message reach every player over a design made for the server: the alert at the top of the screen and the announcement (often called the ad) at the bottom. Both are written from the in-game phone. What sets them apart is where they show, their size and what they are for: the alert is a full-width 1920×150 px banner, the announcement a smaller 800×150 px one. This guide compares them, explains when you need each, and what the design does and does not include.

Looking for an alert script, or an alert design?

"FiveM alert" can mean two different things:

  • The script: the code that makes a message appear for every player when someone sends it from the phone, with a sound if you want one. It is part of your server's files and is handled by your server's developer.
  • The design: the image the message appears on, carrying your server's name, colours and style.

How messages are displayed depends on the system your server uses; Flix provides the graphic design only and does not sell scripts or sound files. If your server shows an image behind alerts or announcements, this guide is for you.

Static or animated?

Both come in two versions, and you receive only the version you order:

  • Static (PNG): a single image, for a calmer look or a server that only shows still images.
  • Animated (GIF): a looping animation that draws players' eyes to the message, suited to important alerts.

Before ordering the animated version, check that your server's system displays GIFs.

Alerts and announcements in the VRP packs

If you are building the server's whole look, the VRP packs include announcements and alerts alongside the other designs:

VRP PACK, $505 static—
VRP PACK, $1007 animated—
VRP PACK, $15010 animated3 animated

VRP PACK, $450UnlimitedUnlimited

The ESX and CFW packs include neither. If you only need one design, order it on its own from FiveM designs, or compare every pack in FiveM packs.

What to send with your order

  • Your server's name and a Discord link to reach you.
  • Any details or examples you like: colours, style, your server's current designs.
  • Whether you want the static or the animated version.

Your order includes two revisions. The design is delivered digitally through Discord or Google Drive, and each product page lists its turnaround.

FAQ

Does the alert come with a sound?

No. The design is an image; you add the sound or music you choose in your server's settings.

Does Flix sell alert or announcement scripts?

No. Flix is a design store: we design the image your server's system displays.

How is the announcement different from the FiveM banner?

The announcement shows inside the game while players play; the FiveM banner shows in the server list before they join. We cover the banner and logo in adding your FiveM server's icon and banner.

Ready to order? Choose the alert design or the announcement design and tell us your server's name and colours.
