Static or animated?
The logo, banner, profile banner, divider line and PC wallpaper come in two versions, static and animated. The rules, ticket and opening images and the invite banner are static. Before ordering an animated logo or banner, check that your server can show it, since Discord ties animated images to the server's level. If you are not sure, static works in every case.
Single designs or a Discord package?
The numbers show the difference:
- Discord Pack at 20 dollars: a static lettermark logo, a Discord banner, bot images and a divider line. Bought one by one, those come to 25 dollars.
- Discord Pack at 30 dollars: all of that plus an invite banner, a welcome image and a rules image. Bought one by one, those come to 40 dollars.
If your server is running and missing an image or two, order them singly. If you are starting from scratch, look at the Discord packages: five levels at 20, 30, 50, 75 and 100 dollars, the higher ones adding animated versions and more images.
What to prepare before ordering
- The server's name exactly as it should be written.
- The invite link, and a way to reach you.
- Two or three colors, or your current logo if you have one.
- The kind of server: a streamer's community, gaming, support, a FiveM server.
- The text of your rules, if you are ordering the rules image.

Common mistakes in Discord server design
- A logo crowded with detail: the icon shows small in the server list, and fine detail is lost there. A simple shape reads better.
- Different colors in every image: identity comes from repetition. The same two colors in the logo, the banner and the channel images.
- The full rules inside the image: make the image a header and write the rules as text beneath it, so they are easy to edit and to read.
